This is the privacy policy of the Jidriya app and its website jidriya.com. The first sections cover the app; the last ones cover the website and its contact forms.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Jidriya app, why, where it is stored, how long we keep it and your rights over it.
2. Data we collect
Account data: display name, username, email, photo, background, bio, country, language and sign-in method.
Usage data: app opens, recipe views, purchases and refunds, starting and finishing cooking, and reviews, with device type, app version and country.
Purchase data: the store only sends us proof of purchase and its status; we never see your card details. We also keep what you add yourself: reviews, photos and support messages.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect your device’s advertising ID, track you across other apps or websites, collect your precise location, or sell your data to anyone.
4. How we use data
To run your account and library, order recipes by your country and preferences, calculate cook earnings, send the notifications you chose, prevent fraud and abusive content, and build statistics that help us improve the app.
We only send marketing emails with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Consents & privacy”.
5. Where your data is stored
We store data on Google Firebase: the database and images in a Middle East region, and sign-in data with Google in the United States, under standard contractual safeguards for data transfers.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your account data while it exists. Notifications are deleted automatically after 90 days. When you delete your account we erase your personal data and keep purchase records without anything identifying you for the period accounting law requires.
7. Sharing with others
We share only what is needed with: Apple and Google to process payments and refunds, technical service providers working on our behalf, and authorities when the law requires it.
If you ask Apple to refund a recipe, we tell Apple whether you opened its steps or started cooking it, only if you explicitly agreed to that.
8. Your rights
You can view your data and download a copy, correct it from “Edit profile”, withdraw optional consents, and permanently delete your account and data from Settings.
9. Children and security
The app is not directed at children under 13. We protect data with encryption in transit and with access rules that stop any user from reading someone else’s data.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy materially we will notify you and ask for your consent again. For any question about your data, contact us from “Help & contact”.

11. The website and what it collects
This section and those after it apply to your visits to jidriya.com and add to the sections above. Browsing the site needs no account and collects no personal data from you.
We only collect what you type into the contact or joining-inquiry form: your name, email, topic and message, plus the page language and the page you sent it from. For an account deletion request: the account email and any notes you add.
12. What the website does not use
The site sets no cookies, uses no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and never asks for your location. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own server, so your visit isn't shared with anyone else.
13. Why we use your messages
To reply to you, to follow up on joining and partnership inquiries, and to confirm you own an account before deleting it. We don't add your email to marketing lists, and we never sell or share your messages.
14. IP address and spam protection
Like any website, our server receives your IP address. We use it briefly to block spam and limit repeated sending, and we don't store it with your message; we keep a one-way hashed fingerprint instead, which can't be turned back into the address.
The hosting server may keep routine technical logs (such as IP address, request time and browser type) for security and operations only; we don't use them to track you or build a profile of you.
15. Where messages are kept and for how long
Messages are stored on our server at our hosting provider, and a copy reaches our support mailbox through our email provider. Connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS).
Website messages are deleted automatically after 12 months, except where we must keep one longer to finish an open request or meet a legal obligation.
16. External links and your rights
Links to the App Store, Google Play and WhatsApp take you to services governed by their owners' privacy policies.
You can ask for a copy of your messages, or for them to be corrected or deleted, at any time by emailing support@jidriya.com.
