1. Who we are and what these terms cover

“Jidriya” is a digital platform for selling written and photographed cooking recipes, where cooks list their recipes and customers buy them inside the app. These terms govern your use of the app and its services; by using it you agree to them.

“Customer” means anyone who browses or buys recipes, “cook” means anyone who activated a cook profile and publishes recipes for sale, and “content” means recipes, photos, videos, reviews and anything else published in the app.

2. Your account

You can browse without an account; you need one to buy, save and review. You must be 13 or older, and anyone under 18 uses the app under a guardian’s supervision.

You are responsible for your details being accurate and for all activity on your account. Usernames are unique, can change once every 30 days, and impersonation or offensive names are not allowed.

3. Buying recipes and access

Payment is made only through the App Store or Google Play and is subject to the terms of the store you bought from. Prices appear in your local currency as set by the store.

Buying a recipe gives you a permanent, personal, non-transferable licence to use it in your own kitchen. It does not let you republish, resell or publicly share it.

Your access stays even if the cook stops selling the recipe or deletes their account. It ends only if you get a refund, delete your account, or the recipe is removed for a serious violation.

4. Refunds

Refunds are requested from Apple or Google, which took the payment and decide under their own policies. If the store approves a refund, the recipe is removed from your library.

5. Content and conduct

You may not publish content that is offensive, hateful, indecent or unlawful, copied from others without permission, or unsuitable for the app’s age rating.

Customer photos in reviews appear only after the cook approves them. We review reports within 24 hours and may hide violating content or suspend the account that posted it.

6. For cooks

Cooks set their own prices. The platform keeps 30% of the net sale after tax and store fees, and the cook receives 70% of it. The net differs between countries and stores.

Cooks keep ownership of their recipes and photos and grant the platform a permanent licence to keep sold recipes available to buyers, even after sales stop or the account is deleted. Screenshots cannot technically be prevented.

The cook agreement details payout timing, late-refund deductions and holding earnings during reports; cooks accept it when activating their profile.

7. Nutrition and safety

Nutrition values are estimates calculated automatically from ingredients and quantities and may vary with actual produce and cooking method. They are general information, not medical or dietary advice.

Check the ingredients yourself if you have food allergies, and follow kitchen safety when using heat, ovens and sharp tools.

8. Suspension and closing the account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms; if a suspension is lifted your purchases return, and a permanent ban is treated as account deletion.

9. Limitation of liability

We provide the app “as is” and do our best to keep it running. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for cooking outcomes or for what users publish.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will ask for your consent again for material changes. They are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For any question, contact us from “Help & contact”.

11. Using the website

jidriya.com introduces the Jidriya app and lets you contact us. These terms apply to the website as they do to the app.

The texts, images, designs and videos on the site belong to Jidriya or to the chefs who made them, and may not be copied or used commercially without written permission.

Don't misuse the contact forms, for example by sending spam or abusive messages or pretending to be someone else; we may ignore such messages or block their source.

The information on the site is a general introduction. Features, prices and available countries may change without notice; what the app and the store show is what applies.
